As @tailingpermit loves to remind us, Nick Patti was one of the fastest quarterbacks Boise State ever had on the roster.

Laugh all you want, but he was a monumental key to UCF’s perfectly shitty 2015 0-12 season.

Has a banner and ring to prove it.

Another (latest) addition to the Boise State 2020 recruiting class:

Braydin Shipp a 2018 American Fork H.S. commitment to Boise State who has been serving on his LDS mission in Peru but is now on the way back to his home State of Utah (and then to Boise State).

His 247 profile in 2018 listed him as a 6' 5 1/2" Offensive Tackle and 313 lbs (as a HS Senior)

Below is his first tweet on twitter (posted 5 hours ago) since 2018.

Boise State adds a grad transfer from Stetson University.  He's a place kicker who was listed as a RS Junior on the Stetson roster last fall.  Stetson is an FCS school (Pioneer League).  I'm assuming he's a walk-on.  By my count that would mean Boise State will have FOUR placekickers on the roster for next fall.

3 year starter. Career long is 46. 98/102 extra points. 34/45 on field goals (25/30 last two years).

As for the 4:

r-SR Joel V-Sqez - strongest leg but struggles with accuracy. Punts and kickoff specialist.

r-Sr Jonny Messina (place kicker with good accuracy - I’d bet he fills that short FG  role like Sachse)

r-So Ryan Meyer (walkon and complete unknown)

r-Fr Gavin Wale (K/P who wasn’t good enough to win a job as t-FR - hopefully he’s “the dude” for ‘21-‘23 seasons.

He might be the frontrunner for the starting spot. Not a lot of game experience coming back at the RT position

Looks like he started half the season at LT before injury in 2018. Rice has been pretty bad though. Hope he’s healthy and can provide  some depth.

Yeah, I think the interior line has some good depth, but OT a little less so.

I think he started 6 games for Rice in 2018 and then was injured and missed most of the rest of that season.  Then played in 9 games in 2019 and started only 1 game (at LT).

Good experienced addition for the Boise State O-line who MIGHT contend for the starting RT spot.

Is this year's OL class the best (on paper) Boise has ever had? The class itself was below the banner class of the year before, but I can't remember a better OL class.

Brandon Hernandez - .8539 - P5 offers; Oregon, Cal, Arizona State, Wazzu, Colorado, Colorado State
Kyle Juergens - .8390 - P5 offers; USC, Arizona State
Riden Leong (JC) - .8358 - P5 offers; Iowa State, TCU
Nathan Cordona - .8349 - P5 offers; Illinois, Colorado State. Also had offers from 10 MW schools.

That's an average north of .8400 and all four having P5 offers. I can't think of a better collective class. Maybe @bsu_alum9 can research the other classes.
