28-4

MWC regular season and tournament champs.

And they get a 13 seed and a road game playing AP #11 and #4 seed Oregon State in Corvallis.

What a joke.

Still not totally official as the selection show wasn't supposed to be until 4 pm pacific.  So maybe these were just placeholders or something?

Boise's RPI is 39, UALR's is 61...UALR (24-9 out of Sun Belt) gets 12 seed, Boise gets 13. Doesn't make sense to me.

Looks like it was real...ESPN reschedules the selection show last minute to 5 eastern on ESPN2 after originally being scheduled at 7 eastern on ESPN.

Surprising that their seed is that bad.  I saw a clip about the team on the local news and saw that they'd only lost four games on the season.  I was expecting to see them in the 3-6 seed range.  If they'd lost in the conference tournament, they might not have even made the NCAA field.  What did their non-conference schedule look like? Did they beat anyone of note?

Women’s  basketball is a joke... it’s like football playoffs on steroids.

Man, the woman's selection committee is shady as hell. You look at the other #13 seeds in this year's NCAAT and BSU's RPI is 20-25 spots higher than all of them, plus their record is way better and the MWC also had the highest conference SoS of all the 13's. I'm guessing BSU is one of a very tiny group of top-40 RPI teams in tourney history to be "awarded" a 13 seed.

It's apparent the committee has absolutely no respect for the MWC, but it is still a pretty epic hose job for a 28-4 BSU with an RPI of #39 to not at least get a #12 seed and avoid a true road game in the first round.

When was the last time a MWC team did anything in the women's tournament?  I honestly don't know the answer, but if your league isn't ever winning, you don't get much in the way of seeding.

On the other hand, if your league is constantly getting the shaft on seeding and having to play true road games, it can be difficult to do anything in the tournament.

What did Boise's non-conference schedule look like this year and last?  Are they playing the (literal) little sisters of the poor?
