UNLV has lost 14 of the last 15 meetings with San Diego State

Jalen McDaniels is the team’s leading scorer and rebounder with 16.0 ppg and 8.1 rpg. Devin Watson (15.7 ppg) and Matt Mitchell (10.5 ppg) also average in double figures in scoring. Watson is the team’s assist leader (4.1 apg), ranking fifth in the Mountain West

Head coach Brian Dutcher is in his second season with a career record of 41-23 (.641)

UNLV won five of its last seven games to close out the regular season, including its finale at Colorado State on Saturday, 65-60

Led by senior guards Kris Clyburn (13.9 ppg) and Noah Robotham (5.1 apg), the Runnin’ Rebels are looking to advance to the MW Tournament’s semifinals for the first time since 2014 and secure its first postseason win over San Diego State since 2003

UNLV leads the MW in offensive rebounding (13.3 orpg, 13th in the country) and is second in rebounds per game (38.7, 33rd in the country) and rebound margin (+5.1, 31st in the country). It is third in blocks (3.7 bpg)

Senior guard Kris Clyburn set a program record for 3-point percentage in a game as he was a perfect 6 for 6 from beyond the arc in UNLV’s 65-60 win at Colorado State on Saturday

Over the last two games, UNLV senior guards Kris Clyburn and Noah Robotham have been smoking hot. Clyburn is 11 of 15 on 3-pointers (.733) when you combine his stats in the last two games against Boise State and at Colorado State and has averaged 20.5 ppg in those games. Robotham has recorded 17 assists with just one turnover during that same span, while averaging 12.5 ppg

Since the 3-point field goal was adopted by the NCAA in 1986-87, UNLV has converted at least one 3-pointer in all 1,069 games played

Maybe UNLV players too. As is apparent by the point spread, the Rebels are plenty capable of winning but they have to know their recent history with SDSU, even on their own court. So if they manage to get by SDSU, much more than SDSU, they're liable to party like it's two zero one nine nine and get buried by UNR.

I would give them more credit than that.  But I’m not there.  Hope MM keeps a tighter leash than you are suggesting

UNR is a rival, kinda changes the metrics even if UNLV lost twice. First game they where in it first half. There’s been a lot of middle seeds doing damage 👀
