Can Sanders turn out blacks? That's the question.  Any drop off there and he has big problems in some key states.

He will turn out young people in bigger numbers than Biden will turn out blacks, so it’s a push in that regard.

Those 1 in 10 Bernie supporters undoubtedly felt about Trump as I then did. Which is to say we thought he was a raving lunatic but that if he actually became president the significance of the position would require him to become a halfway rational human being. In being so naive, I thoroughly underestimated Trump's narcissism as I'm sure that 1/10 also did. So I don't think what happened then is a good augury of what will happen this year.

Boom goes the dynamite.

The Democrats are offering a choice of an elderly man with late stage dementia, or a another elderly man who wants to turn our country into East Germany of the 1970's. No thank you I'll vote for Trump!

So you're going to stick with an elderly man whose even further down the dementia spectrum. You're all set then.

I’d pay more attention to Bidens running mate because I don’t think he will make it four more years.

Since Stunner is no longer around to reiterate his months-long mantra, I'll borrow it.

Particularly given how the black vote in South Carolina saved Biden's campaign, you can bet the equity in your home that he will choose an African American to be his VP partner. Most likely a female too so as to placate the Warren supporters butt hurt over how she fell from the frontrunner in September to just another candidate six months later.

And it would have to be somebody very different from Thalib or Omar, the House member from Minnesota who has also made comments which suggest anti-semitism. Someboy like Stacey Abrams would be great.

Boom goes the dynamite.

No. I don't think so. But I'm not sure that Biden will either. I mean, he'll do it more than Sanders, but it won't look anything like the Obama years.

Oh, fess up. As part of his "base," you'd vote for Trump even if the best Democrat in history of the world was nominated.

The Democrat party of today is light years different than the Democrat party of the Kennedy years. Trump is very similar to Reagan in policy. Granted his arrogance and narcissism is off the charts.

The Republican Party was much different in the early sixties too. A Repub as moderate as Goldwater would have absolutely no chance to get the nomination now.

I would consider a moderate Democrat that had all of his or her mental capabilities intact. Sure. We don't have one of those as an option though, So I will vote for Trump.

If biden were to pick abrams as his vp I’d feel a lot better about voting for him in November.

Biden can't remember simple phrases, thought half the American population has died from gun violence, forgot he was running for president and thought he was running for senate instead, can't remember what day of the week it is, forgets what state he is in. This is just in the last week! Trump has his act together and Biden's Gaffes will make for great comedy at Trump rallies all summer long if he is the nominee.

No you wouldn't.

Though, this is what I am talking about. When push comes to shove, almost every Republican will find reason to disqualify the Democratic nominee. Even by using a rationale, such as this one above, that should also disqualify Trump. Such as it is in today's polarized electorate.

Dude, seriously? What was moderate about Goldwater? He is literally The Godfather of conservatism and libertarianism in modern American politics. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are his descendants, not HW and Bill Clinton.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

And your guy said windmills cause cancer and a million other dumb things. Man, we can do this all day long. But really it comes down to the team you like better, and you know it. If you are going to use something to disqualify the Democrat, though, at least use something that can't be just as easily applied to the guy you are supporting.

I mean, you won't hear me say I don't like Warren because I hate socialism. That's why I support Bernie!

Wait a second. Ted Cruz is the descendant of The Swamp Thing. Clearly.
