Bernie’s admittedly a socialist. If you don’t think wanting to spend more than any other President by at least a factor of 2 is crazy, then WTF I guess?  Seems crazy to me.

I didn't understand the Trump is actually telling the truth part. As should be apparent, although I support many government programs which might be labeled socialistic, they are things like what the SSA administers and not all the stuff that Lizzie and Bernie want to see implemented which appeal to college age people who don't understand the financial ramifications of such programs or are naive and non-pragmatic so don't care even if they do. For that matter, I haven't been impressed with the feds when they've dictated things to locate education anyway. No better example than Boehner, Ted Kennedy and Dubya's No Child Left Behind program which was a boondoggle.

Boom goes the dynamite.

The truth was in response to saying Trump’s line of attack was Bernie is a “crazy socialist.” Well...he is a socialist by his own admission. The policies he’s run on for decades would dwarf all previous expenditures and it’s not even close. Unless you buy what he is selling, that’s either crazy or almost everybody else is crazy because they don’t pitch anything like that.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.

Neither has a chance at winning. It’s amusing to watch both of them. Bernie reminds me of the professor in the Back to the Future movies and Pocahontas is the stereotypical wicked step mother.

OK clinton voter october 2016

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

Seriously, I’m amazed anyone thinks they have the slightest clue what is going to happen in this election.

Mayor Pete and Jeb Bush definitely have the same charisma.

Or, as I saw him described earlier today.... if Marco Rubio was a white, gay, Democrat.

The problem with this line of thought is that historically, the economy is more likely to "tank" under a Republican administration.

It went no where but up with anti-corporate Obama.

The economy Obama inherited from Bush, yes a Republican. was so bad it couldn’t help but trend upward. Still it was a very slow recovery primarily because business didn’t trust the anti business Obama and hesitated expanding. The Bernie and Warren agendas couldn’t help but sink the economy unless the Republicans hold the House and Senate.

I have no clue what will happen with Biden other than he was hitched to the same wagon as Obama. If Biden is elected I could see a lot of infighting between moderate Dems and those on the far left. I believe he has the best chance to beat Trump. Biden’s running mate is probably more important than Biden due to his age.

There are probably ten Republicans I would vote for instead of Trump, but that’s not going to be a choice.

Trump's approval rating has stayed quite steady for a long time now and the only thing that's changed much is a reduction in the number of Americans who have no opinion of him as president: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/?ex_cid=rrpromo

Given that and the fact we're now only a little over nine months away from the election, there's little reason to think that anything will have any real impact on people's vote other than who the Dems choose as their candidate. Unfortunately for those of us who are Trump haters, if there is any electoral entity which could hand the election to Mr. Grumpy, it's the Democratic Party.

Would you vote for Bernie?

Hillary and Obama already out there trashing him.

Obama said he was the only candidate that might get him to take a side. Clinton has good reason to dislike him. It’s when that media lines up seemingly in unison against him that’s really going to piss people off.

Guest #1Stunner

Bernie will win the first 4 or so primaries, causing the other candidates to lose donors and drop out.

In comes Michael Bloomberg, with his billions...

The Democratic establishment will then circle around Bloomberg, since they all hate the idea of a Bernie candidacy.   They are more Wall Street / pro military spending than the liberal base realizes....

Then....

You'll have two New York billionaires running against each other in the election.   Two Republicans running against each other.
