Best MW QB in 19?

Princeton and Yale have 2 players combined on active NFL rosters.

Boise State has about 2-3 players each year drafted into the NFL (so about 10% of its scholarship players for each class).

You're comparing an Ivy League Education with the NFL prospects of a G5 football commit going to a commuter school.  Whatever you're smoking, you should pass it around.

And Princeton & Yale have more billionaires graduates than BSU has had players in the NFL.

Billion-heirs more likely.

So go to school with Eric and Don Jr.  - But the median salary of a new Princeton grad is still pretty low, $65k.

https://thetab.com/us/princeton/2016/10/14/princeton-is-the-highest-ranked-ivy-for-graduate-salary-3969

This says average median salary for a Boise State grad is $38k.

Factor in the cost of living between Boise and NYC suburbs, and it's likely a wash.  Six figures is going to require a graduate degree regardless. And a football-playing graduate of either of these schools could probably get into their choice of graduate programs/law schools.

Like Chris Carr, Boise alum who went on to both play in the NFL and graduate from a top 25 law school.

Depends on the major.  The ivies tend to graduate a lot of liberal arts students.  Also, I doubt the poll includes students who go abroad or foreign students who came here solely for an education.  If you've ever spent time on an ivy league campus, you'll see that there is a huge segment of foreign students.

Boise signs a half dozen or so kids every year with multiple Ivy "offers".  I would not recomend it to my son but hey, happy they are Broncos.

MUST NOT MAKE.... truck driving joke... must not make one.....

There are only two things I can't stand in this world: people who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.

And a 9th has a Stanford offer.

Harsin recruits a lot of really good students, not sure why that fact gets under the skin of some here.

Can’t take that guy seriously.  Drives a little Toyota and lies about his days of living off the land in the Selway.  Too much.

Not a Toyota, and it was the Frank church.  You sure love to ride my dick, don't ya?

Forgot Wayleed.  With more scholarships to give, would not surprise me if we sign another with an Ivy offer or two.

mcmaryion is probably the only time i've seen a p5 transfer QB live up to billing and his circumstances were wholly unique; not often a coach runs off the clear best QB on his roster.

That's because MM doesn't fall into that category. He was not a blue chip recruit. He was a nice prospect, but a fringe P5 player. He is much more of the Ryan Finley, Vernon Adams type. Nice player, worked his way into a starting position, showed he could produce at the college level, then transferred to find a better situation. He was good on a bad Oregon State team.

Blue Chip QBs that transfer because they can't get playing time rarely pan out.

This 4* QB Brevin White was recruited pretty hard as a junior by BSU, then he blew up as a senior but turned down everybody (including late push by ‘Bama) and chose Princeton. Looks like he redshirted this year.

The QB we did land, though also had an offer from Princeton.  As well as Harvard, Yale, Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth, Cornell and even @Headbutt's own CSU!
