SDSU vs The World in the Maui Invitational: #1 Duke, Xavier, Iowa St.

Recommended Posts

Down 17 at half with Duke hitting 9-17 from three. IMO SDSU is trying to double too much on the perimeter leaving guys open. Play one on one coverage on the perimeter and clog the lane if they drive.

The Aztecs would still be in the game if they hit a few more shots, and didn’t turn over the ball. Still Duke is uber talented and really tough to defend. They can score inside and out with relative ease.

I think Duke will lose a couple of games this year against a Virginia or UNC when they are on the road and the shots aren’t falling. Early in the season their defense is still a work in progress. If they learn to play defense like some past Duke teams they will be unbeatable.

Syracuse looks like shit so far but if they can get their damn zone defense going, they might give Duke a run.

You’re an idiot.  That’s why we were in the field three years ago.

Nevada will be invited to Maui soon enough.
