Here are some of my MWC Bold predictions: Justinian Jessup has a big season and becomes a NBA Draft Prospect Boise finishes in the top 4.... again. Neemias Queta wins FOY Only the top 4 in the conference finish above 500 in conference play, it will be very top heavy UNM plays in a play in game and MWC send 3 to the NCAA Tourney (Nevada/SDSU/UNM) Jalen McDaniels leads the conference in BPM. Jordan Brown turns out to have a minimal impact as a frosh (solid bench big) A non Nevada transfer wins newcomer of the year shhh....let's not speak of this. USU will suck, just like their preseason predicted 4th place finish in their own division in football.

Hey, there's no way I would have believed the Aggies would have won 3 of the last 4 against UNLV with how poor we have been since joining the MWC but somehow that is what has happened.

qwelish
Not sure what usu has coming in, but without that point guard they will probably be in trouble. Plus a new coach, right? Im doubtful usu will be any good this year. If usu finishes above the Rebs, or Rebs finish 7th or below, MM would definitely be on the hotseat. Lots would want him fired. Many do now. Just you, because you're brilliant.......and you actually pay attention. Seriously though, I don't think the so called media "experts" had a clue in the preseason. I will give credit to the few here that did warn everyone to watch out for the Aggies.

WasatchAggie
USU will be more competitive this year but we still need another year of recruiting to start moving up the standings in the conference. That being said, I think USU will win a few games this year that we would have lost last year.

After watching them, they could surprise. Queta, Miller, Brito, Brown, both Knights looked really good tonight. Miller was a beast.

If we had a 16 point win against BYU (Who I think will be good this year), I would tend to agree. That being said, I’m not being negative. I just think the MWC is a good BB conference and we just hired a new coach who has a lot of ground to make-up.

Craig Smith. https://www.sltrib.com/sports/2018/03/26/usus-naming-of-a-basketball-coach-is-imminent-after-craig-smiths-visit/ Our old coach is now an assistant at Boise. He actually should do a good job for them.

I think everyone in Aggie nation was glad to see Duryea had a soft landing. He is a good guy who just struggled a bit as head coach.
