Maxine Waters and the Dems already looking to tear down economy

Recommended Posts

There can be no doubt.  Hillary Clinton and George Soros intend to convert the United States into an Islamic republic.  They have organized 7,000 ISIS fighters into a caravan in Mexico with the intent of breeching our southern border.  The plan is to take over the state of Iowa and force the white girls of Iowa to be the wives of Islamic leaders.  Only Donald Trump and Steve King can turn back the invasion and save America for God's chosen white people.

Awww, somebody who thinks the Democratic establishment will actually ever do anything to Wall Street.  Who repealed the New Deal banking laws and created too big to fail in the 90s?  Who refused to reinstate them after the banksters then drove the economy off the cliff?  Who failed to prosecute a single bankster?  The banks aren't giving Obama $600K for a thirty minute speech because they're mad at what he did.

Hell, I wish the Democrats were running on a firm commitment to reinstate New Deal banking laws, break up the big banks and prosecute any executive who breaks the law.  They aren't because they are just as bought and paid for by Wall Street as the other guys.  They might talk a good game during election season as their part in the sick Kabuki Theater that masquerades as democracy in America, but once in office, they'll drop to their knees for Wall Street every bit as quickly as the Republicans do.

A Democratic administration tried to punish the wrongdoers but the Republicans got into the act and are now letting wrongdoers go at it with impunity:

The way the Republicans whine about the Democrats not doing anything while at the same time the Republicans are doing all they can to assist financial predators feeding on main street Americans would be funny if it were not so sickening.

Google the phrase "Holder Doctrine."  That's the legal doctrine that Eric Holder came up with while an assistant AG in the second Clinton administration. It, essentially, posits the idea that the primary determinant in whether to criminally prosecute a corporation or any executive of that corporation should be the effect on shareholder value rather than any actual....you know....criminal activity.

They're two sides of the same bought and paid for coin.  The Democrats will give Wall Street 97% of what it wants while thumping their chest as the party of Main Street while the Republicans will give then 105% of what they want while calling the Democrats "socialists."

Call it good cop/bad cop or Kabuki Theatre, but at the end of the day it's corporate oligarchy masquerading as democracy.

It actually wouldn't. The part of SoCal depicted here is the desert. Those people consistently vote R. Clark County Nevada would become irrelevant politically. This would be a deep deep red state. The problem I have with it is the Morman influence would be unbearable.

It also includes LA and SD.

How red is SD proper? I know the county as a whole usually goes Red, but I've always figured that is more a product of the Escondido/Oceanside type areas more than anything. Am I wrong?

And I know i could go google it, but I always like to get local perspectives on things. And I've always been curious about that, as SD is the one major CA city that is a blank area to me. I've literally never been south of Oceanside on the coast. I've been to the desert, like Calexico and the like, but never in SD. No particular reason either, I've just never made it down there. I've been to +++++ing South Lebanon, but never San Diego. Weird.

City of SD for most of its history was, like Orange Co., dominated by the GOP. Pete Wilson got his start as the mayor. In the the last couple decades it’s changed so that now the City Council has a Democratic majority. The mayor is a moderate Republican (there actually is still such a thing here - he marched in the Pride parade). The older parts of the City south of I-8 are deep blue. My precinct voted 85% for Hillary. The ‘burbs are more conservative.

The smaller cities trend the same way. The older cores are diverse and Blue, the suburbs more affluent and conservative.

The unincorporated area is very conservative and the County is gerrymandered to diminish the influence of the cities. All 5 County Supervisors are GOP.

Maxine is worse than Trump.  It's not even close.

And Maxine is a F'n idiot.

Of all the labels you could rightfully attach to Trump, stupid isn't one of them.

No, you could never call the guy who hasn't read a book since childhood and whose advisers have to put his name in every paragraph of his briefing papers to keep him reading stupid.  Now, I'll grant that he possesses a certain cleverness in discerning the zeitgeist of the moment and knack for latching onto what a broad swath of the public is looking for and riding that train to the end.  That being said, I don't consider him to be intelligent in the least.

I'd say to this that Trump is probably the least smart President we've had in modern history but he is also by far the cleverest and that has served him better than just intelligence would have.

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

But the stupidest thing Trump has done since getting elected is not hire you for millions of dollars to tell him things God only knows. Must be nice to have a direct line to God free of charge.   Your next question will be: Why would I call myself?  .😹😹😹

Yep I like it when people like to call Trump as dumb or even "least smart".    So I think Obama was the most clever.

I know some think otherwise but Trump is about the most transparent President we've had.  You get to see his tweets daily, he talks up a storm in rally after rally and talks to the press too.  Trump isn't hiding something, he blasts it out to the world every day.  Its his nature.
