renoskier
Many here are probably too young to remember this iconic moment in sports history but this happened 50 years ago today: I recommend listening to the short narration: https://www.npr.org/sections/codeswitch/2018/10/16/657548752/those-raised-fists-still-resonate-50-years-later

It doesn't get real hot there. https://www.accuweather.com/en/mx/mexico-city/242560/august-weather/242560 =============================== It's a shame what happened to those two men from standing up to injustice. :-(

Rainy season in Mexico City is mid-May through September. Typically it rains almost every day during the rainy season. The city averages something like 30 inches of rain from mid-May through September. The 1964 games in Tokyo were also played in October. Seoul (1988) and Sydney (2000) were both late September. The 1956 Melbourne games were in November (that probably confused most Americans who wouldn't understand why).

Isn't November when the water starts following down the drain clockwise down under?
