Does Kimbrel actually think that pose intimidates batters? It's his pitches that work, not the pose.

Hey Crixus — you like apples?

Congrats to the BoSox, now up 2-0. It's gonna' take a miracle for the Dodgers to win this series, and that's what I'm hoping for. See ya' in warm and sunny LA. B)

A small silver lining: no DH at Dodger Stadium, so someone's sitting out as Martinez goes to the outfield.  Alex Cora says he's staying in the lineup no matter what.

I have faith the Dodgers will at least avoid a sweep.  After that, I'm not so sure

Bellinger and Pederson should be back in the starting lineup in LA.

I'm watching Access Dodgers on Spectrum cable and Orel Hershiser just reminded us viewers that the Dodgers were down 0-2 in the 1981 World Series and came back to beat the Yankees. But if we go down 0-3 were toast. LA's got to win the next game or else!!!

Have a good night everybody. I'm gonna' have some corned beef hash for dinner and then watch Forged With Fire on History. If you've never seen it, check it out at 9:00 pm.

He does and it does. It’s unique and throws batters off. Just like his sliders and fastballs. Just like Kershaw’s delayed 2 kick too (well, used to).

JBJ will be the odd man out. Betts will slide to center and JD will play right. JBJ will then pinch hit and our bullpen will most likely have Price, Eovaldi and Sale in it Sox fans are WAY ok with that.

Sorry, no breaks for you.

Whether it's 2-0 or 1-1, I'm of the opinion that Game 3 is usually the most important of the World Series. If the Dodgers win Game 3, they have a chance to flip the momentum. If they lose this one, the odds of them beating any team 4 straight games would be dismal ... but particularly against this Red Sox lineup and the managing of Alex Cora.

I'm guessing each team wins all of their home games and Boston takes it in 7.

At most LA takes 2 at home. Nothing has shown me that the Dodgers can handle what the Sox are throwing at them. Buehler will be very good, we can assume. But the Dodger bullpen and poor management by Dave Roberts will ultimately be their demise.

the Red Sox bullpen, (talking Joe Kelly and Kimbrel),, seem to have gotten over their wildness issues.

IF that continues I think the Dodgers have hard time making it to  a sixth game.

I love how the "no DH issue" is a big deal every year to the NL fans, .... and the NL game is "much more complicated".

To back up your point - The Red Sox are 19 and 8 in 2018 vs the National League. 5 of those NL losses came at home.

If Joe Kelly wasn't playing professional baseball, he would be working as an undercover officer.  He majored in psychology at UC Riverside.

"I wanted to go into the DEA or I wanted to work undercover," said the Red Sox reliever. "Psychology looks good on paper for those kinds of jobs. I wanted to sell drugs on the streets undercover. I wanted to shave my head, get tatted up. I feel like I could have done good."

UC Riverside, home of the Highlanders. Being of Scottish roots, I like their history. https://ucrtoday.ucr.edu/35509

On top of a high velocity fastball, he’s one hell of a funny guy. Great impersonator.

The Red Sox train has been rolling all year. I can’t see it running off the tracks with a 2-0 lead. I was surprised they handled a very good Astro team 4-1. They may sweep this series. The Dodgers lack great pitching to stop them. On top of that they are driving in runs with clutch hitting with two outs which the Dodgers haven’t done well all year. The Dodgers need to take at least two of three at home.

Dave Roberts has killed the Dodgers chances in the World Series, just like he did last year. First he takes out Baez in game 1 when Baez was pitching well. The move backfired and led to more runs for the Sox. Then he goes with Madson again in Game 2 even though Madson blew it in game 1. It's Dave Roberts going with Yu Darvish all over again, only the names have changed. He insists on throwing pitchers out there who are slumping because he thinks they'll work their way out of it. You can do that in the regular season, but not in the playoffs. And especially not in the World Series. But Roberts is stubborn when it comes to pitchers. But he has no problem pulling a slumping hitter. There's a lot of Dodgers fans here in SoCal that aren't happy with Roberts right now. And I'm one of them. I watch Access Dodgers on Spectrum cable and the panel (Orel Hershisher, Nomar Garciaparra and Jerry Hairston) all agreed that if LA doesn't win game 3 you can expect to hear some "boos" going Roberts way in game 4. I thought Don Mattingly was bad at handling pitchers, but Dave Roberts is worse. Tommy Lasorda (a former pitcher) was good at it, and it lead to two World Series titles in 1981 and 1988.
