Tell me your Good Bad Ugly for your team after OOC

Recommended Posts

Well as for the good we found we have a decent backup quarterback to Chapman who can play next year. For the first time in forever, we have a crop of really talented young wide receivers with size and speed. The offense of line is playing well. We have one hell of a kicker and we actually have something that really resembles a passing game. The bad that offensive of line has lost once for the year and it can't afford to lose any more of them.
The pass rush is not been very good and we get multiple 30yard plus bombs a game. However, on the good side we still won three games and only lost the Stanford. On the good side were favored in six of our last eight games and if that worked out we would have a nine and three season and a chance for another 10 win season.
The bad is we are not likely to win a conference championship, particularly not likely to beat Boise State given the condition of our team right now. The good side if we keep improving don't get many more injuries we have a chance in the game against Fresno State not saying we will win but have a chance.
On the ugly, we only have nine seniors and man it looks like it at times.. Also, we still keep collecting 15-yard stupid penalties at the least inopportune times. Another bad aspect is we really only have four experienced defensive linemen and three will graduate, leaving us with a bunch of freshmen and sophomores in 2019.

The Bad - 109 total yards vs Washington State.

 For Hawaii:

Good - The RnS Offense still can do damage. Byrd, Ward and Ursua showing their stuff along with McDonald being a surprise.

Bad - Opponents are gathering film on how to Defend the RnS. Either with good pass rush or with a 3 man front leaving the other 8 to defend the 4 receivers. Rice, Army and even Duquesne have been using it to some success. Still issues with the Offense and ways to attack the Defenses being shown, but it seems like running the ball along with QB runs will be a new trend.

Ugly - Our Defense allows through too many big plays and Passing Defense has been way below average.

He took one of the worst team in the country and turned into a pretty good football team . Very physical when did they play any team with the initials CSU? Beat Purdue did they were  5-7 last year but lost three OT. Took them to the first bowl game in a zillion years the year before. YOU could do worse. IMHO

For Wyoming -

The good-- Won the games they were supposed to win (hey a win is a win, right SDSU?)

The bad-- Lost the games weren't supposed to win

The ugly-- Offense still searching for any playmakers, on Defense the jury is still deliberating

Boise -

Good - wide receivers and Rypien are in awesome rhythm, and the supposed best guy hasn't even played yet. Defense is playing fast.

Bad - offensive line can't get a push to get the run game going, and gives up tons of sacks in the passing games.  (the best teams in this league all built around their defensive fronts, so that doesn't bode well in some conference matchups)

Ugly - not being able to punt

The Good: Boy, Allen sure represented the university well didn't he!?

The Bad: Dominating NMSU does not look the same as it would have looked last year

The Ugly: As it turns out, you actually have to score some - any - points to win at the football game

Wyo will not lose the Border War this year.

Bobo will be our head coach.

It's a rivalry game.

Bo doesn't do rivalry games.

If Wyo loses the Border War, that would be an epic loss... worse than 44-0 {gag}
