Boise State Baseball Update

Is this handled the same as natural grass with mowing, watering and fertilizer? It sounds interesting like something I might like to put in my yards

A lot of it depends on what kind of weather and area you are in. For the Santa Ana hybrid, it needs to be in an area that needs to be in the sun, it doesn't like shaded areas. Also likes a warmer climate as well to thrive. The big thing on some of these is the drought resistance they have. With fertilizer I can't really say, that would be something to look more into. With mowing, again depends on what kind you get but yes many of them you can mow.

Before moving ahead, it would be very wise to look at cost and especially research into it. Because some hybrids do well in some climates and not well in other climates. Many businesses, parks, golf courses and ballparks are starting to go more toward these. But they are starting to get into residential selling now as well.

Not sure why the turf is green, but this is the latest rendering. (football stadium in background past left field).

Of course the usual regressionists are crying in their cereal about trading "state owned" land to developers to get a good deal on the construction work. Complaining that somehow ISU and the Vandals are getting the shaft and Boise State is getting special treatment.

Everything owned by Boise State is "state owned". +++++ing idiots.

Also, the Lusk district is home to a huge chunk of our student population and it is a no brainer to get those parcels developed with things that will mostly benefit off-campus housing. They are being wasted right now.

I hope they get that stadium built in time for the 2020 season. It'll be nice to have an 8th baseball team in the MWC.
