If you were going to go to New Zealand

@mugtang it is too late now unless you want to rent.

New Zealand is facing a housing affordability crisis which has left home ownership out of reach for many.

Low interest rates, limited housing stock and immigration have driven up prices in recent years.

Why new Zealand( he wonders) when there's a socialist paradise just a few miles south of Miami?

Could it be that leftists are a bunch of hypocritical racist pigs?

I’m the furthest thing from a leftist.

I have been hearing a lot of nice things about Croatia.  Basically a cheaper version of Italy.

To be honest I’d love to live abroad, but right now as a single parent that’s not feasible.  I doubt my ex wife would sign off on me moving her over seas.  Maybe when she moves out.

Nah, it's that you have no concept of economic or political systems

Doesn't that describe Reno pretty well too?

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

Actually,  you're still good to buy. Only on new construction,  like apartments. Existing homes are off limits.

You only need a one or two bedroom pad anyway.

Nope. She’s going to the University of Maine.

Might as well get her on board with the University of Christchurch

Croatia is my favorite place I have ever visited(not that I have been to a lot of places around the world). I could live there. I could agree with the assessment as cheaper Italy. Kinda a cross between Italy and Greece depending where in Croatia.

Croatia is in the EU but you could probably head over to Switzerland or south of Croatia if you needed to get out of the EU for a bit as a digital nomad to reset your EU visa.

Well, it looks like we could do perpetual tourism in Poland (kinda like Central America).  Stay in Croatia for 90 days, UK for up to 180, EU for 90 days, and we get 90 bonus days above the EU days in Denmark.  Maybe I need to plan a year in Europe!:USFlag:
