Wouldn't be surprised if something dealing with the heat and such. Hope he gets well soon

I had to google numbness of the feet to see what would cause something like that.  I didn't see anything about heat but, there is a range of possibilities which I'm sure the doctors will look at.

Unfortunately heart problems can be a cause so let's hope it's not that. Here's wishing him a speedy recovery.

Boom goes the dynamite.

Probably on the the shitter and got preoccupied thinking about another 7-6 season and got dead legs.

In all seriousness though, I hope he comes out alright. Oddly enough I've heard that heart issues do manifest in the feet.

It could be Guillain-Barre Syndrome.  The first symptoms of GBS is numbness on the extremities (feet and hands) and usually ascends symmetrically.  I had it and was paralyzed from the neck down.  Mine started from my feet.  Good news is that everyone normally recovers.  Good luck to Coach Bobo.

there are several reasons why your feet can go numb, hopefully they figure it out soon, (and it's one of the simpler things) get it treated, and he feels better.

Yep, several reasons.  Read between the lines though.  They didn't send him to see a specialist as an outpatient tomorrow, they admitted him for tests.  That would indicate that they not only feared the worst, but suspected it.  And then Bobo makes the statement that he's encouraged by the test results to this point.  The doctors will rule out anything life or limb threatening first, so it sounds like they have done just that and it's down to the plethora of less frightening options being figured out.  Pretty scary for his family, probably followed by a little relief that it's not the real bad stuff that they were worried about.  Once they get past the "oh shit" possibilities it stays a little scary but fear downgrades to worry.  I'm betting it's complications from his knee replacement this spring.  Surgeon probably left a gold cufflink in there and it's pressing on a nerve.  It is reported to be the foot on the leg the knee replacement was done on, and the symptoms did start after that procedure.  I'm praying for the guy and expecting to see him on the sidelines celebrating a blowout over Hawaii very soon.

it's good to know it's only one foot, and that his knee was replaced this spring. If it's both feet it's a different story.
