Favorite movies!

Recommended Posts

There was a thread a few years back about our favorite movies. It helped me see and experience cinemas I hadn't in the past. And after movie pass has come I see movies at a much higher rate now. But even with all that I don't believe my top five have changed one bit. Unfortunately I can't find the old thread but if anyone else has something to add...

1. Requiem for a Dream

2. The Prestige

3. Snatch

4. Inception

5. Trainspotting

Bonus 6. Se7en

American Graffiti is a Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas movie that I really like and this is one of my favorite scenes. I grew up listening to Wolfman Jack on my pocket transistor radio. I would stay up all night listening to the Wolfman play the hits. He was the best radio DJ ever, IMHO. And he was only 57 years old when he died in 1995.

You still can! There's a company that brought back his old shows and they're currently being aired on stations across the country. Here's one in Santa Rosa, CA. http://www.kwvf.com/

The Wolfman's on right now! Just use the link and click on Listen Live and then click The Wolf 102.7. They air his shows 7:00 - Midnight every night.

I go with @BSUTOP25 when he said about depends on what kind of mood you are in for movies.

Some of my favorites:

Caddyshack, Eight Men Out, Clue, Oscar, Sgt Bilko, Battle of the Bulge, Live and Let Die

Thumbs up on Eight Men Out. But are you aware of its background and that much of the ostensibly factual book on which it was based eventually proved to be inaccurate?

Boom goes the dynamite.
