Apparently being challenged to a debate is the equivalent of being catcalled

I actually think its a pretty clever response. Why should she debate him. He's not a politician. Not passing any judgement on her or her politics just saying I think this response is a clever, funny comeback.

She shouldn’t if she doesn’t want to. Claiming he is doing something that basically amounts to a sexist act isn’t clever.

I mean she is only comparing it to catcalling in that she shouldn't have to respond to it. The tweet was attacking her for not responding and she said shouldn't have to respond to a request just like you shouldn't have to respond to catcalls. That's the only comparison she made.

I'm no fan of her or her politics but she sure seems to get under peoples skin. This tweet isn't a big deal.

A request and a catcall are very different things.

But you’re right, Twitter isn’t real life and this is not a big deal.

The most clever thing she's said is that the reason unemployment is down is because people are working two jobs :)

How 'bout the "from men with bad intentions" part?  Why do you represent one tweet as an attack and the other as clever?

No real point in "debating" a right wing propagandist with an agenda and a serious aversion to truth & reality

Nothing to see here

Is this why people stopped debating you?

If I was truly a "socialist" I would work for the government rather than have my own firm :USFlag:

I was actually referring to the socialist who probably shares your opinion that there’s no point debating a right-wing propagandist...  as if her views aren’t extreme themselves.

Personally, I wouldn’t want to debate Shapiro either if I was her.  We both know he’d tear her apart.  She doesn’t come across as the sharpest tool in the shed.

It could be a remake of Dumb & Dumber - neither have much to stand on other than shallow talking points.

Perhaps, but Shapiro would still tear her apart and you know it.

I'd bet Shapiro would come off better.....he's confident enough to just get up there and lie his ass off........it would appear to look good on TV.

Ocasio is not as confident in front of cameras and tends to alter her thinking during an interview, where Shapiro would just adamantly blow & go with whatever lie he has convinced him is legit
