3D Printed Gun case - Designs to be Available online

A win for the 2 defendants, both wanting 3D printed gun plans to not be subject to Federal ITAR controls.

One of the litigants intends to post his designs online, open source-style.

What does this mean, especially in gun control States?

The UF library has a shitload of 3D Printers. Nice, high end ones too. Somehow though, I don't think they'd appreciate me barging in to make a few pieces.

A lot of high schools have them as part of STEM/STEAM programs as well...
