This is some sick shit.  I don't understand that kind of sickness.

Up here in Spokane they arrested a physician resident for using the internet to entice some young girl to a hotel.  The young girl was actually law enforcement.  So basically, the guy gets fired from the hospital he was doing his residency and now goes to jail.  Life ruined.  The guy got out of high school and did his two year mormon mission then went on to college/medical school and boom career over.  I don't get it.

Can I pay a tax raise the salaries in this task force, please?

I can’t imagine the evidence these guys have to look at every day.

It is hard.  Most of them need psychiatric help and last less than 18 months.

He did my grandparents funerals.  I was his alter boy for 6 years.  He was my confessor.  There has been a lot of pain in our community since the news of this broke.  The level of betrayal and disgust can not be explained with words, just tears.

I just hope he gets convicted before he goes to hell.  His health is not the greatest.

That is horrible.  The Catholic church pissed me off with their Capital Campaign.  They told us it was to raise money for purchasing land and building churches.  That never happened.  In a lawsuit in the Spokane Diocese it came out that the church was using the money to pay attorneys and to settle victim law suits from priest/child abuse cases.

My wife served on a federal jury prosecuting one of these despicable individuals. He was abusing kids still in diapers. It is amazing the detective work that caught that guy. My wife wasn't herself for a period of time, it probably took her a month or two to get back to normal.

There is not a lot of posts in this thread and for good reason. There is no side to argue, there is no reasonable other side to take. And honestly, it’s far too horrible a subject to even think about for very long. But I feel we really need to appreciate all the work done by the rank and file at the FBI and other law enforcement agencies.

The FBI as a whole has taken some hits this past week due to the actions of the highest echelon in an impossibly charged political atmosphere. But if anything could highlight the value and necessity of the agency at their absolute best, this is it. You simply can’t work cases like these without sacrificing your own well being. There is not a sane, rational, decent person who could do this kind of law enforcement and not have it affect their life for the worse. We’re all greatly in debt to everyone who grinded at their jobs, day after day, hour after hour; dealing with seeing and hearing and thinking about these awful crimes. They did heroic work here.

We’re all sitting in the dugout. Thinking we should pitch. How you gonna throw a shutout when all you do is bitch.
