#1 Nevada vs #8 UNLV

Recommended Posts

Rebels only hope is that Mooring is on.  If he is, then UNLV has a real shot to win like they did in Reno earlier in the season.  If he is off, like he was last meeting, it will be a long afternoon.  Mooring scored 17 vs AF yesterday, but was only 4 of 16 from the field and 1 of 6 from 3 pt. range.  My hope is he had a bad shooting game yesterday, so he'll be on today.  As with most of the season, when he plays well we win.  Hopefully he shows up today or it will be the end of the season for the Rebels.

It's going to be a battle. No way Nevada shoots as well as last week and no way UNLV shoots as poorly.

Stevens has to stay out of foul trouble.

No way? Have you seen these Rebels?

4 of our 5 starters are injured in some way, they will play but you wonder how it will affect them. I think this a close game going down to the wire

Other than Jordan and Caleb, who is injured?

Mooring injured his non shooting hand last game, right? I only listened to part of the game on the radio and it sounds like it was affecting him.

Your angst & tightened sphincter must be over the use of the letters U N & R

Well no. That's what you guys don't seem to understand. The angst is the other way around. People in Vegas can't stand the thought of using "Nevada". LV is the only place in the country where it isn't used, which is what makes it look stupid and petty. I can live with UNR.....you guys can't live with "Nevada". But let's not let this ruin the game.

Hard to teach old dogs new tricks - after decades as UNR

Even the UNLV announcer will fill your shorts by not even using UN & R.......and only using  R E N O !  :pitchforks:
