That is unused land, which the Republicans clearly want to be private land. Why are you in favor of Federal ownership of land. Why do you want to oppress the Ranchers and Miners? Because I believe federal land belongs to all Americans, and not to a select few? That there might be better uses for it than special interests want? Guess that will make me a far left liberal or Socialist or Communist or whatever the right wants to conflate. Oh well. Old_SD_Dude
Thought I'd share what I consider some irony here. My company has been hired under an as-needed services contract I manage to prepare a security threat assessment for a very popular local park. The municipality is concerned primarily about a large truck driving into the crowds that gather there for concerts, etc. Our security staff identified the areas around the park perimeter where different types of barriers need to be installed to deal with the threat. Today I'm meeting with a P.E. from our Orange County office for a site walk so we can prepare a cost estimate. The P.E. is a Arab immigrant named after the Prophet. Thay Haif Said: Quhat Say Thay? Forgotten about in what sense? there is plenty of literature about the democrats and "establishment" republicans abandoning the white working class, a quick internet search will give you lots of reading material, from lots of different perspectives. as far as abandoning the middle class, thats a little fuzzier, because public workers are a big component of the middle class, and the dems certainly havent forgotten them, as evidenced by the stimulus payouts. I dont disagree, but the out of touch elitists that said they represent the Dem party didnt speak of the middle class much from what i remember. Trump has pretty much appropriated that position (and others) from the dems recently.
