Hoping the solid effort on both sides of the court continues for this one. They have to play really smart on D to avoid all the backdoors.

The real test of this one will be to see if they are done with the attitude of playing down to their competition. If they play that way, AFA is perfectly capable of beating us. They need to dictate pace.

The Mblocke will shut down the back door.  He might be the only one that can do it.  He needs more minutes in this game.

Im a little bit worried about this game. Theyve been red hot scoring the basketball and are on a two win streak.

Im hoping the Rebs make quick work of them and cruise into halftime up 25+.

But who knows? Hopefully the Rebs arent feeling themselves and show up overconfident, underestimating this opponent.

AFA is dangerous right now.

Hopefully UNLV has learned to not take any team lightly

The Princeton Offense is a bitch to defend.  There’s a lot of disguise built into it.  There’s a lot of counters to what the defense is doing, and there’s multiple actions that can be ran out of the same formation.  The only problem is that it becomes a lot easier to defend once you’ve seen it before.  Air Force gets more out of their talent than they otherwise would with their offense.  However, they will never beat an experienced MW team who has seen it before because they have no talent.

If he's projected first round, he needs to go. Players that are already first round rarely improve their position. This "think about it after the season" is what they all say. He will wait to get his scouting report to find out if he is likely first round or not.

If he is not first round, or maybe borderline, I would be pretty surprised if he goes. I know his Mom really wants him to get a degree. He doesn't seem like the Chris Wood / Steve Zimmerman type who has to get to the league at all costs ASAP.

The league will be there for him whether he leaves this year or next.  Offensively, he is pro ready.  Defensively and effort-wise, he is not.  He is getting better in those two areas as of late, and we have seen how that has helped the Rebels.  I have a feeling he may just stay for one more year.

The money and contracts are different though. If he can go first round, he will get a guaranteed contract. If he stays in college, he could get injured or he could fall out of the first round. If he is likely to go first round, he really should go.

All is well, For Rice is gone.

Well tonight will be a contest against a guard oriented team so we can see if it is the size of the 3,4,5 positions or the shooting and speed of the 1,2,3 that makes a difference. I guess it is just a coincidence that the look and results of the team changed with the starting line-up and rotations. There is much more to the recent results than just the plus/minus points. It's been more about energy, effort and attitude. More Beck, Hardy and Diong is what has made the change to the team as a whole. 3 guys that work hard and fight has raised the level of those qualities for the entire team.

See you at the game!
