the S&P+ preseason projections actually have fresno pretty low overall (44th) because it factors in a 5 year rolling average and that includes the worst of the deruyter years, and Bill tweaked the formula to put less emphasis on the most recent season than it had had previously.

Would you happen to have a link for the actual 2018 S+P projections? I tried to find them online to no avail.

Why do you think CSU should be picked 2nd instead of 4th?

You guys have finished 7-6 each of the last 3 years.

Defense has been holding us back.  This off-season drastically upgraded our Defensive Coaching Staff & concentrated on recruiting the defensive side of the ball, w/a few Juco's that should make an impact.

Colin Hill (QB) is the real deal.  We are very deep at WR & RB.

Meh, sounds like 7-6 again to me.

I don't see the Cowboys having enough offense to land them #2 in the Mountain division.  Wyoming's defense will once again be stout but they'll be under intense pressure each and every game.

The offense will improve, and I expect to see better production from one of the very capable QBs waiting in the wings. NOT intangibles but better production. I think TVW will be the starter, but true Fr. Sean Chambers will compete for the top spot. Smith will NOT be the starter.

Other impact positions on offense will be improved, which we saw toward the end of the season. They are coming into their own. Big question mark for the running game though. Still not convinced we’ll be productive in that area.

If the defense performs on-par with this season, a marginal improvement in offensive production will make us a serious contender for the MWCC.

I still don’t see us beating Boise though....they’re finally finding their grove.

I'm on my third bottle of wine so, Boise State is gonna just kick the living shet out of all of you. Total dominance,  We'll get all your coaches fired and we'll bang your cheerleaders (even the fat ones) .

Then we'll play in the Superbowl and end Brady's career by decapitating him.

2018 will be a banner freakin year.
