It won the Missouri Valley tourney last year? What stupid point are you trying to make now?

They might not have gotten in if they didn’t win their conference tournament.  Also, they were a ten seed despite being a top ten KenPom team.  The committee gave a shit less that they lost close games to good teams.

Nevada would be looking better if they didn't crap the bed in Vegas against San Francisco. SOS is currently 49th, with (according to RealTime RPI) their best wins being Rhode Island, Illinois St, UC-Davis and Wyoming who are in the Top 100 RPI currently according to them.

Lunardi and Palm currently have Nevada as an 8 seed right now, the interesting one is Palm has Nevada as a 8 seed in the same bracket where Texas Tech is listed as a #1 seed.

However if Nevada doesn't over look San Jose St, this weekend's game against Boise will be big

Texas Tech as a one seed is laughable.  They won’t make it to the second weekend.

And if you aunt had balls she’d be you uncle? What point are you trying to make? Their SOS is about 100 places worse than Nevada’s is at this point in the season. There are way too many variables to consider. You try to dumb things down to make a point and per usual fail.

Same applies to BSU not sleepwalking against USU. If we get a 17-3 Nevada against a 16-3 BSU on Saturday it will probably be as big a regular season conference game as the MWC has seen in the last 4 years.

Definitely going to that game, gonna be a good one. Damn I hope we have Cody Martin back by then though, we're gonna need him for sure.

Nevada is 4 spots out of the Top 25 in both polls, and Rhode Island is 2 out in the AP, 6 out in the Coaches. Boise is 7 out in the Coaches Poll but has no votes in the AP.

I think 2 wins next week and we will either be in or very close. The Boise should be great. Hopefully we can sell out.

Sure does, I'm sorry forgetting to say Boise St in the same breath, I was thinking it but didn't type it out. If both survive their games on Wednesday, that is going to be a huge game on Saturday.

Nevada received 23 votes in both polls this week. #25 in the AP is Miami which received 143 while TCU at #25 recieved 103 in the ESPN poll. Even with two wins that seems to me to be a large margin to overcome to have a shot at the Top 25
