Lastly the whole premise that people can’t build a business by the sweat of their brow is false.   A country that provides them an equal opportunity to be successful as the trust fund baby is a country I want to live in.

Of course this doesn't address any of the 4 points i made.  Nice sentiment though.

Then you don’t believe in free trade and capitalism which we already knew.

Sure I do.   That’s why I’m putting in a mechanism to insure it actually happens because the current ones are working so well.

sorry if I’m tired of the average American getting raped by the elites for their profit when we have more than double the current account deficit of the next closest country.   We pay per capita double the next country in health care costs.

You are benefiting from the elites, you are just too stupid to understand how economies work.

Without the elites you wouldn't have a job at all.

Still waiting for someone to tell me the last time they got a job from a poor man....

Do you understand what the "demand" part of supply and demand is?

Remember that every argument you have with someone on MWCboard is actually the continuation of a different argument they had with someone else also on MWCboard.

So you got a job from a poor man? Tell me about it....I'd love to hear the story.

Where was it? How much did you get paid? What kind of work was it?

I'm very interested.

Me, personally? Yes. We've had several jobs where we are hired by poor people to do home inspections prior to purchasing the home. Paid for by the future home owner, buying super crappy cheapo homes that they can afford. In an amazing twist, 10x100=2x500.

For that matter, Coog, you're aware that there are jobs like "trailer park manager" and "7-11 owner" and "any position related to the Dallas Cowboys" that are entirely funded by poor men, right?

That's work.....a poor person can give me $5 to mow his lawn. That's not a job.....who was your employer when you were hired for the work? My guess is someone with money....

Nope.....in all of those situations, you're getting a paycheck from someone with money. if you manage a trailer park, your paycheck is signed by the owner of the park...and he has money.

Yes, it is. When you're an independent contractor, each part of work is your job.

LOL the 'elites' or job creators only exist off the back of what you two dummies would label as socialism.  Does the business owner who hires the trained or aptly educated employee pay for any of their education or training prior?  In almost all cases, no they do not.  They simply mooch off their new employees student loan debt, the government funding grants and scholarships they may get to be able to get a colllege degree that the employers mandate, and the public school system most Americans matriculate throough on their way to college and their new career.  I took on $25k student loan debt to attain an entry level job that paid $25k/year.  My employer didn't contribute anything to the education and training that I PAID FOR in order to work for them.   I mean hey, it's a great system for the 'elites' and ultra rich who don't have to invest jack shit into their employees before they hire them.

Without the elites your socialism wouldn't exist, you couldn't have taken a loan and you wouldn't have a job.

Capitalism pays all the bills.

Actually, it is a job. Try arguing that with the IRS.

Not it’s not you dumbass. So you’re telling me that the November jobs report that just came out includes all the time some guy gave the neighborhood kid 5 bucks to mow the lawn?? Haha. Hate to break it to you, but just because you gave the guy on the corner 25 cents to pull your weeds that doesn’t make you a job creator. That’s work.....not a job

Wages do not create jobs.

Capital is the driver of the economy.  Wage earners are one of the stakeholders who benefit by the encouragement of capital investment in our economy.

Capital should not be taxed at all in any way.  There would be no wage earners, no government, no services, no businesses without capital.

Capital pays the freight for the whole economy.  Why would you discourage its use in the economy?

Pretty much every reputable economist in the world would disagree with that.

You talk about capital as though it were something sacred that should only be entrusted to the wealthy.

This is as ridiculous as your assertion that anyone who isn’t worth at least 10 million by the time they die is a loser. That would make 99.8% of the people in this country losers.

Actually they did pay for your degree. Without it you get 12k a year at McDonalds. With it you get 50k a year out of college. Sounds like they paid you for your education to me. You paid up front and they reimburse you through your paychecks.

I’ll take real job creators such as Trump, Mark Cuban and Bill gates and 7 others to an island for 10 years. You can take yourself and 10 people that work the register at McDonalds to a different island. After 10 years, which island to you think would be more advanced? They’re both full of “Job creators” right?

One group would know how to cook dinner.  The other group would get in dick measuring contests and starve.

The island with Trump, Gates, et al, would be at each other’s throats trying to take control and hoard the island’s scarce resources and steal from each other.

Give me the workers bees along with one shift leader, who aren’t afraid to do some actual work.
