Disappointed that we didn’t move up, but the point gap between USF and SDSU is down to 17 points. If we win next week against Boise and we might jump them. That’s a big if though.

Winning next week is a not a "big if." We will be favored, the game is at home, and we are a better team. Doesn't mean we will win, but it is not a "big if." We should win, and should expect to win.

Memphis received votes in both polls good enough for # 34 in the Coaches Poll and #35 in the AP poll

If we want back into the national conversation all we have to do is beat Navy Sat in front of 45,000 Tiger fans...that said, I'm afraid our defense (or lack there of) may not be up to the challenge Navy presents.

A win over Navy does not get you "back into the national conversation," whatever that is. But it certainly would be a nice win.

After their game against AF yesterday, Memphis should tear up Navy’s defense. Navy made it look like AF actually had a passing game...

The fact we scored 70 masks the fact we gave up 31 points to UConn. Half of our defense is standing on the sidelines with crutches. I expect Navy to run wild against us but I would LOVE to be wrong.

Didnt SDSU only beat Air Force by 4 points?

Yeah, on a very rainy game where we couldn’t pass at all for most of the first half. That was honestly one of the worst games I’ve ever seen on any level in terms of weather conditions. On neutral conditions it most likely wouldn’t have been that close.

Not really sure why any of the AAC teams are ranked, their resumes are pretty much blank

Meanwhile, welcome back to the AP ... with 2 losses Stanford checks in at #23

UCF has legimtately looked very good. USF is ranked due to last season's record, and returning players. Navy, I have no idea.

Still, SDSU has more quality wins than those three teams combined. I am just not that concerned about it. All we have to do is keep winning.
