Boise State tripped PG Marcus Shaver

Looks like Austin's replacement. The Former UC-Santa Barbara commit has some modest offers. Hawaii, Portland, Northern Arizona, UCSB, and UC Davis. Also just picked up offers from NMSU and Santa Clara yesterday. He was the leading scorer on a team that went 27-0 last, won state in Arizona, and was ranked top-20 in the country. Would be a decent late pick-up.

Agreed. Not a coup, but a nice pickup. There is a lot of good young talent on this team in Hobbs, Jessup, Dickinson, and potentially Casdon Jardine. Adding another four year contributor to that group would be decent.

Shaver was released from his commitment after UCSB fired Bob Williams.  Would be a nice pick-up for Boise.

When you can't even beat Portland for a player, you're going to get shit on.  Also, I have no problem when people shit on UNLV football because we have a joke of a program.  People only choose us because they have no other options.  That's what Boise State basketball is.

Uh, no. Boise actually wins conference championships and gets at-large bids in basketball. UNLV football and Boise State basketball have absolutely nothing in common.

Again, you can only brag about winning a subpar conference.  Get back to me when you win nationally.  UNLV football had the success that Boise State basketball is having back in the 80's with Randall Cunningham.

I promise that spuds is not my sock.  Look at the sign up dates.  They've been here since 2005.  I was living in California at the time and didn't really care about college athletics
