Two MW athletes win National Championships at Indoor finals

New Mexico's Josh Kerr won the mile, running a 4:03. He's a freshman.

CSU's Mostafa Hassan won the shot put with a throw of 69 feet, 9.5 inches. He beat the next closest competitor by four feet. Barring injury (or the end of the world), he's a virtual lock for the 2020 Tokyo games. 

Beyond that, CSU had two 1st team all-americans (3k, heptathlon), Air Force had 1 (women's high jump), SDSU had 1 (women's 200)
