So we all can be homeless?

Isn't cyber-warfare the new battlefront? What if the Nazi's knew the full D-Day plan months in advance?

What if my aunt had testicles. Oh right, she'd be my uncle.

Sorry but I don't give two fcks about supporting an authoritarian government that illegally spies on and kills its own people without due process. If that makes me unpatriotic, so be it.

It's wanting to burn the whole house down that makes you unpatriotic, not your (righteous) issues with authoritarianism.

We might commit all sorts of nefarious shit, but IMO we're a helluva better option than whomever would seek to knock us off the hill.

What American citizens is the CIA killing? I'm genuinely ignorant on this.

There's been plenty of discussion on this over the past couple of years but you can simply start by googling famous CSU grad Anwar al-Awlaki.

You can't mention "googling" and "famous CSU grad" without mentioning Crappy Bibs and telling the board to prepare thine anus.

Don't you know how to MWCBoard bruh?

We just found proof (many of us already suspected this) of the depth at which our rights are being violated and you don't care?  Any person with an ounce of respect for the Constitution of the United States of America should be outraged.

Hell we just found out an individual CIA agent could, say, hack the DNC and Podesta and frame Russia with insane ease causing political chaos.

That's kinda where I'm at. I'm not trying to imply anyone is unpatriotic for any view... If that was inferred, I apologize. I'd never question anyone's patriotism as that is something which means different things to different people. I just have problems with an "unbiased actor" who damages our country's ability to protect its interest without providing the same damaging info on the other actors engaging in this. If wikileaks put up Russia's cyber-espionage program and China's and the UK's and Germany's and the others engaging in this, so be it.

A CIA agent could also walk into a neighborhood McDonalds and open fire. Doesn't mean they have.

I mean, I get that CIA is a dog whistle that gets folks hackles up, and there are people out there who have no trust at all for them. Just because they have the tools to do something to an American citizen, in my mind, doesn't mean they are using those tools against American citizens. I still respect out Rights and the Constitution. I have concerns that the CIA could do something nefarious to American citizens, but I still don't see proof that they have.

Admittedly, I haven't read all the data dump so I am probably missing something.

Part of the leak is that THEY ARE USING those tools, illegally, on US citizens.

Like I said, I hadn't read the whole thing so I missed that. Thanks for the clarification.

Just yesterday you were marginalizing the legitimacy of the very real ongoing investigations into what is an established and unprecedented consensus agreement regarding Russia's interference in our election by more-or-less referring to it as a "conspiracy theory."

Yet here you are, an avowed conspiracy theorist, propagating something wholly unfounded, without so much as a binary digit of data to support that these programs were used for anything other than over their established charter to gather SIGINT on appropriate targets.

HM, you are too smart to apply such a hypocritical double standard without being aware of it. More importantly, as a self-described conspiracy theorist, to so casually and completely dismiss both the principles of Cui Bono as well as Occam's Razor in this instance is both disingenuous and well beneath your standards IMO.

Again, as in yesterday, I ask better of you.
