Sounds like a great signing for the Aztecs.

"Finally we decided it's crazy that we can win games by throwing the ball without the best personnel. So we threw the hell out  of the ball and won some games. When we started doing that, we were like 55–5–1."

Not sure what to make of this but I trust our hoops staff when it comes to talent.

I noticed, BTW, that not only has 247 not rated him, they have the kid as being 4 inches too short.

Boom goes the dynamite.

At least that would explain how he was able to slip under the radar.

I'm stoked to see us back mining the overlooked/underrated kids. Seems to me we posted 34 wins with a bunch of them not too long ago.

We are doing what we always do. It is the services who missed, according to the thinking of our coaches.

SDSU has had 5 upper half NCAA berths in a row.

You don't think we (rightfully) too advantage of our success to target more highly-rated recruits?

Or were we always targeting the same level recruits and just started to land some (more) of them?

Either way, if you chart the recruits we have been landing, we certainly began landing more highly-regarded/rated recruits after our breakthrough season.

And I would still posit that the kids with more stars next to their name likely exhibit different personality and character traits than the kids who do not get the same degree of recognition. I'm not certain by any means, and would welcome evidence to the contrary.

You get a bunch of low rated kids, and you wonder why you get blown out and can't play your "elite" defense against good teams.  Only an idiot would want two and three star kids over four and five star kids.  No team has ever won a championship without four and five star players.  Also, no team has ever won a championship without an NBA draft pick on their roster.

I get called an idiot, yet I'm the one who has the facts.

Note to idiot: No one in our conference is going to win a National Championship. As UNLV has proven, highly rated recruits do not necessarily translate to success on the court. Go back to whining about having to work.

UNLV has the chance to do it again with the way that they recruit.  Also, you morons ignore my facts because you have no legitimate rebuttals.

Lol. Better try beating the Aztecs before you go for that Natty. As I've said before, I'll take 4 years of Kell over one year of McCaw.

Patrick McCaw was at UNLV for two years, and you win a championship if you have two year players like McCaw as your stars (combined with good role players).  Trey Kell is not an NBA player.
