Mbacke Diong is now 6'11" and projected to end up 7'-7'1". What set him apart from most Bigs is his athletic ability. He can run the floor like a 6'6" wing and jumps out the gym. Elite level athlete with a solid skill set. Next up Brandon McCoy!

In the off chance we get McCoy, does that place Dwayne Morgan at the 3? Gonna be a huge lineup with Johnson at the point dishing the ball.

That means two are gone, 3 if McCoy miraculously commits.

Heard a rumor that Menzies is targeting a PG from Florida. Not to mention the upcoming coaching carousel that will ensure some roster upheaval (we experienced a major one last year) that will have players looking to transfer. Probably looking at a couple more new faces.

That's not a rumor.  We're actively recruiting Luguentz Dort.

That's 2018. Dort would be a huge get along with Hamilton. If Menzies could get both for 2018, that would be the best freshman backcourt in the country.

But the rumor I heard was a point guard for 2017 class from Florida. His staff has been all over Florida.

Anthony Smith was dismissed from his JUCO team.  Therefore, he's unlikely to join UNLV.

that actually turned out to be false, and the guy issued an apology for saying it.

I wonder what the holdup on Jordan Goldwire is.  He said it's down to UNLV and Hofstra.  It makes me think that Menzies is waiting on another point guard to decide before he proceeds with Goldwire.  I'm not sure who that would be.

Seems like he has potential and is willing to take all steps necessary to develop. Wonder if we get him.

I don't know. Arizona State offered him, but they signed a hs point. He reminds me of Oscar Bellfield but a little bigger and more athletic.

We're a better program than Arizona State.
