An expansion will happen or a new stadium.   I'd say demand is at 35,000 with a new stadium 40,000 would be adequate.    Greatest period ? 1 losing season in 60 years with 13 national titles is a long period

5 consecutive in the minor leagues is most definitely your greatest period.  You should revel in that, to be honest.

Mr Bison..The MWC currently has 12 football schools..That gets them a conference championship game.  The conference is  fairly balanced between western schools and mountain region schools..

Your school would not bring anything the MW currently lacks.  If and when some schools leave I am sure you would be under consideration.

And realize that being Green Bay Packers wannabes only gets you so far. (Or is it Edmonton Eskimos wannabes?)

Boom goes the dynamite.

They still count as Division 1 titles

Talked to a couple higher up at basketball tournament, NDSU fell 1 game short of a 3 straight trip to big dance ..

They have spoke with the mountain west , waiting for some movement with the big 12 to start the domino's...

cross your fingers, NDSU in the Mountain West would be a great fit!

North Dakota State is a fine school but it simply doesn't add anything that the MW needs..You are far far away from the vast majority of the conference, you don't provide a large tv market, and you are not nestled in a hotbed of recruiting.  In addition, the MWC currently has 12 football playing schools so there is no room at the inn for you at this time..

Were the MW to lose a couple members they would be far more likely to just continue on as a smaller conference than add somebody else..

nvspuds.  maybe NDSU brings Northern Iowa or Montana with them as partners.

NDSU is ESPN's love child... we keep getting Gamedays & with the QB Carson Wentz love NDSU is HOT HOT HOT right now!  It would definitely help out the conference, especially football & basketball.  Thier Summit League had a higher RPI than MWC and NDSU football fans travel, just ask Colorado State,Wyoming... we brought 4000-5000 to each & it would happen every year!

TV wise you get the Dakota's (fasting growing population in usa) and Minnesota markets. NDSU is run on Statewide broadcast tv thoughout the region, is any other members?

Mike Bronson is high on the Bison.  It is both delicious and low in fat.

The MWC... it seems like they're getting somewhere but not getting anywhere.

Mr. Bison...Other than perhaps an incursion into Texas I don't believe the MW has any interest in expanding..There is very little money to go around as is..

In addition, NDSU is having great success where they are..You yourself say your conference basketball is better than the MW..Why not just stay where you are?
