Polee Cleared for Play

Recommended Posts

Great news for him, his family, and the Aztecs!

"I never saw a buckin' hoss to top Steamboat. Fact is, he was the closest thing to perpetual motion that ever wore hair. Few men could stand that kind of battering without bleeding from the nose, and most became nauseated as well. Ol' Steamboat put some of the toughest into the hospital for repairs."

That's great news. He seems like a really awesome kid too.

Not sure he'll be much of a factor. A lot of rust to overcome.

Has he been practicing for awhile?

Good luck to Mr. Polee.

Are you kidding!? His mere return alone will be a huge morale boost to an already very confident team! His contribution may not translate on the stat sheet right off the bat, but it'll be invaluable to SDSU's team with him just being able to play his first minutes on the floor... Suds may just become an unstoppable juggernaut now!

He said he considers himself to be at 90%.

Personally, aside from senior night (where I expect him to start), I like how our starting unit has come together in recent weeks and would prefer to see him continue to come off the bench, though I will happily accept whatever Fish, Dutch, & Co. deem best for the team. He is a better on-ball defender than Shrigs.

Yeah, I'm really not trying to be 'Debbie downer' here, but I was thinking about

the chemistry issue as well.

I think he has to get his shooting consistency back.  Being unable to even shoot a ball in practice until recently is his setback.  As others have said, just his presence on the court energizes the team.  Really happy for him that he could fulfill his senior year on the court, regardless of how he plays.

Your administration is the reason why our basketball league is bleeding out currently. If you didn't insist on San Jose being in the MWC, so you guys would have someone that votes similar to SDSU, every team in the MWC wouldn't have to play 2 games vs. a team with a 330 RPI ranking EVERY season.

You guys are as stupid as you are desperate.   - Cowboy Junky
