wolfpack1
I think my dad said he saw the line on the game drop to 2 point now so heavy money is going on Hawaii in this game. However I have watched a few Hawaii games and their offense hasn't been that impressive but their defense has done well this year but what is different this year from other years is they are playing competitive football right now. This thing will come down to the fourth quarter and wouldn't be surprised if Hawaii steals the game because Nevada traditionally hasn't played well down in the islands. But this would be another huge win for Nevada if they could get the win.

Hawaii has had numerous chances under Chow to steal victories, we should have won the Washington and Colorado games but those games were stolen from us by being outcoached. One thing Chow has is the ability to make games scores closer to what it should be. He will kill the clock with his run game to limit the opponents chances of scoring. Even if we're behind. He doesn't play to win, he plays to keep the score close. Hawaii did the same thing to San Diego St. Hawaii didn't snap the ball on every play until the play clock reached 3-4 seconds. That's a lot of wasted time that was taken away from SD St's offense to stay off the field. I believe he will do the same for Nevada. Nevada Convert
If our improved D and the O play average, that should definitely be enough to win. Coaching mental preparedness successfully is where it's at for this game.

Nevada Convert
Just remember the last time we were out there with Fajardo, we beat you guys by 45 points, 69-24. That was two years ago. I think the bowl games out there are much tougher to keep your guys focused staying there so long compared to an in and out game. I'm sure Polian has gotten some info from Ault about what worked for them. I remember the hype was huge before the game in 2012 about how we were going to lose because of the perception that we always played bad there. And lots were amazed that we broke the curse with a lopsided win of 45 points. Fajardo and any other guys on the 2012 team certainly won't be intimidated. They just remember forging complete and utter destruction on Hawaii. 69-24 sounds like a game we'd have played in Reno. Sure, anything can happen to anybody in this conference in every game. So sure, we could lose. But I guess my point is that we have won huge out there recently and the Brady Bunch Curse or whatever the curse is is overblown for us.
