Old_Sparty1857
Scoreboard loser. You lost. At home. Get over it. Your smack card gets revoked when you lose at home. Your man card gets revoked when you won't stop whining about it. Cool story, that doesn't change the fact that your defense was bad. Your special teams won you the game against us. If not for them the game would have been over at half time. Quote Fight On For Dear Old San Jose State; Fight On For Victory! We Are With You In Every Way. No Matter What The Price May Be! Laconian
yeah. giving up 34 points and nearly 500 yards is good defense. fact is, if it wasn't for our poor special teams and the immaturity of our freshman kicker, we win by two scores. k5james
SJSU only did that twice, and LaTech and yes, SDSU, were very good on offense. Sometimes you have to win a shoot out, and SJSU won them both. SJSU kept getting better every week on defense as the season progressed. By the end of the year that was one tremendous squad. Three times, SDSU, USU and LA Tech. Then UTSA got 411 and BYU got 420 something, and BYU's offense was trash. By the end of the year? By the end of the year they almost gave up 600 yards to LA Tech. Really, you SJSU fans should just STFU, you don't know football.

bsuhead
Lol, so much hype for a kid that didn't really do anything last year. BSU will continue to split time between him and mainly Fields....his 6.7yrds avg I can guarantee will gain him more carries than the 82 he had last year when Harper was running. I don't know what hype you are referring to other than those who have seen this kid run. Old_Sparty1857
My bad. Forgot about USU. They would have slapped the whole MWC. UTSA got whatever they got in the second half against the Spartan second and third teamers. They were down huge at half. But I enjoyed the Alamo Dome more than that dump in San Diego. Going to suck when the Chargers leave town for Los Angeles. Maybe SDSU can still play at Balboa Park. LaTech? They only lead the nation in offense. You know that right? They would have hung 75 on the Asstecs. Keep whining Spanky. Three times, SDSU, USU and LA Tech. Then UTSA got 411 and BYU got 420 something, and BYU's offense was trash. By the end of the year? BSU finished tied for first yet only had five in PS's two deep all conference. SDSU finished tied for first and had six, CSU Fresno finished tied for first and had eight. UNR had nine and look where they finished. CSU led with nine and they didn't escape the cellar. PS has these dogmatic axoims that he sticks to and physcologically biases his all-conference teams to fit that axoim. The main one being the most returners = the most wins. Hence CSU with 15 returning starters last year ellicited a large number of all-conf picks.

Nevada's defense had some senior players that did fairly well for NFL scouts as well and look where our defense was last year. Looked like a full time lay-down defense at points. Coaching was a problem for sure so I feel that new blood on that side of the ball should do us well.

He's a big powerful straight line runner but don't get carried away.
