Ready to finally get separated from all of the condescending better than thou trolls. I'm looking forward to moving on with just nMWC teams and fan bases as well. I think it's funny on the other board, that the fans from the defector schools DO NOT want to have separate boards for the fake pac and MW fans? Hypocrites to want to keep the unwashed fan bases sticking around on a board they've completely taken over! I am for COMPLETE separation. I don't want to hear or read anything about them, and I don't want them chiming in, in threads started by MWC fans about what's going on with our member institutions. MWC people posting there has declined a bunch over the past year and it will continue to decline. Almost every thread and most posts are met with the same PAC trolls going through their same crap of left behinds and lesser conference. Ìts like conference separation is a new sport to be trashed talked. This board was great because of its sports talk and collegial nut busting. That place has a serious cancer that left untreated will eventually kill the board or the sports board will just be another version of the politics board..That may be ok for the owner because clicks are clicks but for sports fans it just isn’t appealing. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Honestly the other board owner is likely losing money and creating a sub forum is the correct move. BUT it won’t stop the decline of the daily active participants. When you have a clique that drives the discussion about anything, people will stop coming and engage. These things aren’t exactly profitable and honestly these forums are going the way of dinosaurs. A forum needs content to drive the discussion and I kicked around some ideas, including a partnership with a podcast. Annual membership for content to offset or completely cover the cost. Ultimately, you realize both sites are hanging on by a thread and that there’s no point in creating a forum and new website. Because 5 years from now these sites will be gone and into the ether of forgotten websites. That being said, there will be a place to congregate and have these discussions. Sit tight.
