Long awaited but finally here, and we are still here..
The Mountain West Conference has finalized a new media rights deal beginning in the 2026-27 season, featuring a six-year partnership with CBS Sports, Fox Sports, The CW, and Kiswe. This, in conjunction with the new conference members, promises increased linear exposure, including 13+ football games on The CW and extensive coverage across CBS and Fox platforms. Key Details of the 2026-2032 Media Deal:
  • Partnerships: Six-year deals with CBS, Fox, and streaming partner Kiswe, plus a five-year deal with The CW.
  • Linear Coverage (CBS/Fox/CW): More than 150 live events annually, including football and basketball.
  • The CW Package: 13 regular-season football games, 20 men's basketball games, and 15 women's basketball games.
  • CBS Sports: 15 football games, 18 men's basketball games, and women's championship games.
  • Fox Sports: 12 football games (including the championship game) and 20 men's basketball games.
  • Streaming (Kiswe): A new dedicated MW app will stream all non-nationally broadcast sports, totaling over 1,000 events annually.
  • Production: Pac-12 Enterprises will produce studio shows for The CW, but not the game broadcasts themselves. [1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8]
