You know we had an enforcer that took care of these guys and his name was @utenation. This was during a time where it was the WACoffs vs MWC, and they kept trying to troll this place and utenation was not having it here as well as other prominent posters that have since moved on since their school moved up to P4. 
 

Looking forward, I agree that there should not be a political sub forum here anymore, it just spills over into this main forum and elsewhere. It’s unnecessary and there’s plenty of other boards to entertain those discussions.

Yeah in pursuit of the sacred click too many boards try to do it all. I’ve been a mod on another board for guns and shooting. We nixed the whole political thing 16 years ago because it was a cancer. It was tough holding the line at first and some people thought we were infringing on their rights to do anything they wanted. We just followed through with the understanding that if people wanted to argue politics, there were plenty of other places to do that. Since then everything was so much better and simpler.

Your theory is correct. People get tribal on the non-sports side, pick their sides, then bring their tribal shit to the sports forum, taunting the same people. I never go to the non-sports side. It's +++++ing lame.

I 100% agree with this. I come here for genuine discussions on the MWC. Too many people just troll and flame. 
 

Most posts that go over three pages become worthless. It is often a few people who just bitch and discourage each other. I don’t get why they find that interesting, but they do.
