We should rebuild the MWC. PAC-12 has zero desirable programs, nobody wants to play with that. FRESNO??? Ever been there? Cal State San Diego, some JUCO college that plays in a soccer stadium? I am telling you, we will have the better conference long term. They are dead in the WATER without Las Vegas! Lock them out.

I appears to be similar to old Big West in BB when UNLV was dominant. Nearly an auto bid into the playoffs for UNLV.

There is no NIL madness in most G5 ranks. UBC has wanted to join the NCAA for over 20 years. Back in 2005, they got a look by the WCC and WAC. There’s no longer a restriction on non-US schools joining.

UTSA & Texas State would be great adds--good for recruiting and adding television sets.  If  Memphis and Tulane don't jump which I really don't think they will, they will be next on the Pac12 radar to poach because the PAC#12 really has zero TV markets other than San Diego.  I really think they're delusional in expecting 11 million per school unless they can grab some big markets.

I like the schools for sure, but we really need larger markets. We have to look further south toward Texas--Txs St & UTSA.  Honestly either way, someone will rise to the top and someone will become a bottom dweller in both remodeled conferences which will end up leaving both conferences on even ground fighting it out to make the playoffs each year--nothing really changes other than lost rivalries.
