UNLV WILL WIN THE FOOTBALL NATTY

Recommended Posts

I know a National Championship in a meaningful sport is nothing you NATTY-LESS PEASANTS could possibly comprehend----but the stage has been set. The destiny of UNLV goes beyond material compensation, when great forces move in this world we learn that we are spirits---not animals. There is something going on in time and space-- and beyond time and space--which whether we like it or not spells: duty. It is UNLV's Duty to represent you meagre peasants in the G5 as your CHAMPION. It is a mantle we wear proudly.

UNLV has a rendezvous with destiny. You can all be proud to say you played a proud role as stepping stones to our transcendence to glory. We did it in 1990 in Basketball, now it's our turn in football.

tl;dr

Bookmarked for the lulz in October.

might as well push that bookmark back to November after UNLV taps SDSU's ass!!!

UNLV Football's meteoric rise as the flagship football program of the West was almost as quick as SDSU's plummeting downfall--after a solid decade of Bowl seasons for SDSU, all it took was one mid 4-8 season for their fairweather fanbase to abandon ship to make their new stadium a ghost town (or even if SDSU's winning god forbid they have a hot sunny day that will force feeble Californians to flee the tyranny of the sun like a desiccated vampire

That game against Fresno on the 28th is going to be something special.  It's also sandwiched in between a road game against Kansas and a home game against Syracuse.

That is a tough stretch. Which is why it is critical to start 2-0.

Hey wasn't UNLV once a dominant basketball program? Final 4 appearances? National Championship? So yeah, I guess you would be an expert on understanding  plummeting downfalls and ghost towns.... ;-)

UNLV is in 1st place in the B12 2-0.

Houston just won and gave OU all short of problem. KU was one of the favorites for the B12. This seasons looks bright.

The Masters 5k road race All American.
