Very good chance that Wyoming loses this game.  

I haven't been this down on Wyoming football in awhile.  I know it was only one game but holy hell what happened last night in Tempe was pathetic.  

A coaching staff should never let that happen and they did.  Wyoming needs to fire Burman and find the money to can Sawvel.  

I didn't expect to win in Tempe but to be utterly lost and show no emotion or heart is a terrible sign and indictive of the staff and how they prepare.  

Idaho is the opposite of that.  They are well coached and play with passion.  

+++++ I hope major changes happen this week in practice and Wyoming can walk away with a victory.

It was a pathetic game but it still was one game. I am curious to see how they respond.  This team is much better than they showed.

What has me worried is Sawvel's career.  What has he shown to be a HC?  I feel like he didn't really earn that HC job so much as Bohl gave it to him.  If there was a true opening, I don't think he would have been chosen.  If Wyoming could have gotten someone like Choate I might say it was one game.  

But you have a rookie HC who seems over his head, an OC that hasn't done much in his career, and a rookie DC.  It isn't a very inspiring staff.  

I hope I'm wrong and the staff makes me eat crow, but I don't have a good feeling about this year or the next couple with the way the staff is currently constructed.  Sawvel isn't going anywhere but I hope he can find a better OC

He seems like he is a capable runner and filled in well against Oregon.  Running QBs always seem to doom Wyoming.  

Hopefully they can prep for him and hopefully the players have a pulse this game.

It really pisses me off that there wasn't a full coaching search after Bohl retired and basically hand picked his successor.  

Eck would have been a way better coach than Sawvel.  I know Sawvel is only one game in but holy shit his team was unprepared.

Getting pushed around and biting on everything.  Smart move by the Idaho OC to have so much misdirection.  He knows Wyoming is not a disciplined team.
