This board had outages before and people retuned. I’ve never seen someone sell a board, while also owning a pac board. Then the PAC falls apart, then the board has to be something else, then this certificate problem happens and they actively recruit and rearrange everything to mimic this board. It’s not jeffkills fault that the board was irrelevant once the pac folded. Been here 18 years through multiple owners, you just aren’t going to replace this forum. This board was barely working, then completely down, then barely working again. Mug offered an alternative for us to discuss the MWC on a general West Coast sports board. They ran over here and linked the board site here. It was a failing pac board whose conference fell apart and rebranded into something else. But I’m a big believer in 2nd chances, and I’m pulling for Jeff to make a huge comeback and learn from it. I sure have fvcked up. That is for sure. The key is to grow and not repeat. If Jeff wants to keep the board and have it survive, he needs to pay closer attention to it, that’s for sure. And listen to board members about ads that are too aggressive. I understand the frustration and why people left. I don’t see it as traitorism (just invented a word). There was good reason for an alternative when this was jacked up for so long. But competition makes us better, and Jeff is going to have to compete effectively, or he should probably just sell it. If he proves that he can, people will come back. No question. Jeff doesn’t need to be an active participant but does need to check in once in a while. That’s kind of what I meant for Jeff to do. I understand your point, but there was a lot of frustration building here over a long period of time, and the situation was ripe for an alternate. Mug just basically said, hey, come on over here if you want some stability. He didn’t make anyone leave. If things were going great here, no one would’ve bailed. So that’s how I see it. Anyone can start a discussion board. The best products win. The scope of the two boards have some overlap, but this place can thrive too. Holy crap, if I only posted here, there would be about 30 guys coming back over with their ‘convert slaying’ attempts all day long. Would have @mugtang fired up the PAC board if @Jeffkills was a good boy and didn't let the security cert expire? Board was down for awhile and everyone wondering what tf was going on. I stopped checking the board for awhile as no new content was being created and only knew of WCSboard's existence via DM, I assumed MWCboard was just abandoned and WCSboard was where the refugees went. Not sure which board will recruit me over....I could be entertained by a large NIL Deal.
