USU visits Oklahoma in 2027

I saw that too.  Welcome to the club.  My squad goes to Norman for Game 2 this year with a Boomer hosting up later decade.  A 1-1 homey/homey deal separated by many years.

Nothing as of yet.  Looking at FBSchedules.com it looks like there are possible openings for both schools in 2027 that could start a series.  But I've heard no rumblings.

Nope. Not going to happen anytime soon...if ever. Utah wouldn't be on the schedule either if they weren't in such a bind. Both seem to be fine with playing other MWC schools but refuse to include USU in their football plans despite (or maybe because of) history and rivalry.

The new USU hoops coach also just outed BYU a couple of days ago and publicly said they refused to schedule the Aggies, even at a neutral site in SLC. It appears they are married to the Big XII's way of doing things which is to play an entire slate of Q4 games at home in OOC, then hope to go .500 in conference and make the tourney.

Sounds a lot like Boise State's situation.  Boise State and Utah were scheduled to have a 3-game series, starting in 2011.  But then Utah was invited by the Pac-10 and literally bought their way out of the series.  The Utes have chosen not to play Boise State anymore.  BYU had agreed to play Boise State every year, starting in 2012 all the way through 2037, but now that they are in the Big 12, they have cancelled their future games with the Broncos as well.  It's such a joke.
