Brian Harsin would be a an unbelievable choice if we could get him.

This is the kind of splashy hire that would propel USU toward the top of the list of G5 programs instantly.

He already owns a tremendous MWC record, familiarity, and history.  He knows the geography of the MWC and recruiting hotbedss of the western US as well as anyone.

Harsin was known as a prick at Boise State. He won a lot of games but he has kinks in his armor. Regardless he’d install discipline and would likely do a good job at USU. 

Not sure how much he wants to jump back into coaching as he’s sitting on $15M Auburn had to pay him after he got fired. If he does coach again Im sure he’ll be picky about where.

I stand by my belief Harsin was going to get fired at Boise 2-3 years down the line before he left. Just the way itbfelt like the direction things were heading. They were searching storage for the seat warmer phase, hadn't started heating up yet.

Can USU even afford defending a lawsuit, pay Harsin and potentially have to pay Anderson?

I don't think Harsin is a good fit honestly.  He's too much of an asshole.  It is also questionable how well he would do outside of Boise at the G5 level.

First thing I did was double check to see if we had USU on the schedule this year.  Sadly, we do not.

From what I have read it is Title IX territory as in sexual assault claims general macro and including domestic assault.  If so, really?  Utah State?  Who woudda knew?

I tend to agree...listening to bronco fans, they were happy to see him go and get Andy. Unfortunately that didn't work either, but still I wouldn't wish upon USU to make another mistake.
