lobodfw
Yes, New Mexico received $1.1M for playing at Notre Dame in 2019. I assumed much larger in 2025.
tailingpermit
I have a feeling Notre Dame was trying to get Idaho but they were asking for too much.

NevadaFan
Great trip. We did it twice with Nevada. Stay downtown Chicago, take the train in on game day, bus to venue. We did the college football hall of fame our first time there but I’m pretty sure it has moved. The stadium is beautiful but like sitting in a sardine can. Prepare thy wallet for an as$kicking. That’s a pricey trip.

I was looking at ND's future schedules, these guys really don't do home and homes with G5 schools, which is pretty shitty IMO. I know they've done a few over the years. They've been to Provo a few times and maybe a few other G5 towns but very slim. Would have been nice if they at least threw out a 2 for 1. Only home and home I see is USF. https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/notre-dame/

USF kind of makes sense as it’s played in an NFL venue, unless they have an on campus stadium by then.

Let's face it Florida cranks out D1 talent like few other States.

A lot of ND alumni in Florida. Edit: second largest alumni base.

They're even getting Alabama to leave the South for an OOC game. They've been to Provo twice out of 7 games, the last 4 at South Bend. The even their traditional "H&H" rival is really 'Home and neutral site".
