Awesome.  Where did you get that crystal ball that tells you she’ll be an Orbrador clone?

Way to shit all over her victory w/out knowing which of the other candidates would do a better job.  As usual, you are a real class act.

Let me let an expert explain it.

So this middle aged white guy showed his Latina wife (born in Cali, raised in Texas, family roots in Mexico, because that's what origin actually means) this thread.  She laughed and said 'now I understand why you're on that website as much as you are'.

Your wife was born in “Cali?"

Tell her:  ¡Qué chevere y viva el amarillo!

..& ask her:  ¿Cual barrio?

And I’m a middle age “Latino” and have read this thread and I am laughing at how dogshit your posts are too.

@SalinasSpartan I have no clue what @RSF & his wife’s angle about the term Latino / Latina is.  Here are my guesses:

- He thinks “origin” as it applies to Latina is “ancestry” & not where someone is born or raised.

- Or he thinks Latino is a “race,”  Which I’m pretty sure it’s not.  Am I correct about that?

- Maybe he thinks la Presidenta-Electa can only identify as one category.  ie: She can’t consider herself Latina, Jewish-Latina, Euro-Mexican, Polish-Mexican [if that is where some of her Great Grand parents are from], Euro-Latina, Polish-Latina, etc... at the same time.  It’s my understanding she can be all those things & more.  It all depends on her life experience & how she chooses to identify ¿No?

---------------------------------------------------

@RSF - Below is a link to a piece from HipLatina.com.  It identifies "24 Afro-Latino Pioneers of Latin Music."

Q:  Do you expect us to believe, none of these folks on are Afro-Latina [or Afro-Latino] because their ancestry is from Africa?

That’s what I get from your reasoning that la Presidenta isn’t Latina, due to “...all 4 grandparents [being]...immigrants from Eastern Europe."

"Claudia Sheinbaum’s election would give Lopez Obrador a defacto second term.  I guess only time will tell.

In the meantime keep shitting on la Presidenta, while you offer no other better option.

Not Latina.  All 4 grandparents were immigrants from Eastern Europe.

Brother, she is a Latina

Latino/a is a very porous cultural signifier. It's not a race where blood relation to Native Americans is necessarily required

That's why there's Japanese-Latinos, Afro-Latinos, German-Latinos, etc. There's endless varieties. What makes one Latino/a is that you culturally identify as and practice Latino customs with roots in Latin America (whatever those look like)

I own a vehicle likely worth more than everything you own combined and just flew first class (including a ticket for a 2 1/2 year old), round trip to Las Vegas and I'm not 35 yet. When you accomplish something outside of finishing a book, let me know. When's the last time you saw a 2 year old fly first class in their own seat? Don't tell me about elite.

Because her family origins are in Eastern Europe.  Again, I pose the question - if she were born and raised in Egypt, would that make her an Arab?  Would being born and raised in Maui make her Polynesian?  People are confusing ethnicity with citizenship.

RSF, the queen of pissing contests. Dude, nobody f’n cares!! 😂😂

Gracias Parcero.

@RSF & his Latina wife don’t seem to understand this.

The job ahead is too large for more than measured success, but wouldn't it be nice if the USA could ever get a highly educated chief executive?

As Convert noted it takes a lot more than being highly educated to be a good president.

Jimmy Carter had an engineering degree from Annapolis and was versed in nuclear physics, but he couldn’t negotiate himself out of a peanut bag. He didn’t seem to understand economics very well either.

So, you are also fine with either Trump or Biden.

Um, I think it’s been made pretty clear for a long time here that neither Trump or Biden has the required skill set that I’ve mentioned to be good presidents. And it has nothing to do with them lacking PhD’s.
