It seems Fresno still carries some good reputational currency. Surprised teams like UNLV or Air Force didn't receive odds.

Boise hangs yet another preseason banner. Long may they reign.

There are only two things I can't stand in this world: people who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.

Are we still blaming division scheduling for why no one in this conference goes undefeated anymore?

Has anyone ever said that?

I think Liberty runs the table.  Now do they get the nod over another 1 loss G5 team from AAC or MWC?

Vs ECU and @ App State in consecutive weeks isn’t easy but their schedule overall is one they can run through.  Think they’ll have to go undefeated just to get considered, doubt their SOS will hold up compared to other g5 contenders.

I think Memphis is probably best positioned this season.

The conference when they got rid of divisions. The conference was worried that the division setup was preventing MW schools from being in a NY6 bowl. I always believed that a G5 needed to go undefeated to get one of those bowls.

No definitely not over a 1 loss G5 school, and even a 2 loss G5 in the MW or AAC might be questionable. Their performance last year will likely impact that, they need to schedule some P5s OOC.

The MWC's chances of getting into the playoffs are slim and none. Slim just caught the last train out of town.

Vegas seems to give the league about a 25% chance, which seems about right.

Why do you think that?  There is a guaranteed slot in the current agreement for the top G5 team.  The MW teams just need to do their part.

The MW has been to balanced at the top half. It's harder to win out in the MW than in C-USA or the AAC.

The AAC isn’t what it used to be when they had UCinn, Houston, Memphis, and UCF battling for the top spot. Now they only have Memphis.
