WTF?

Utah....ACC.... BYU...BIG Rivalry....Boise Really, REALLY wants to be in the Big XII so there's a path, a secret path.  So secret in fact, the writer fails to present it.

Good idea for the B12 to add more dead weight when it's very possible they could lose some members -- Moves like this make a stronger case for others exiting

I know what it is. Some BSU fan starting stupid rumors hoping it eventually gets a school like CU (because CU is really insecure) or Utah to jump ship.

Hidden in the BIG XII bylaws is a small passage titled "No Blue Fields".

Well Utah fans have taken to calling the Big 12 the "truckstop" conference. This really fits Boise as many of their grads spend a lot of time in such places. I think this is the secret path not laid out at all in the article.

Sadly, local media in Idaho has been soft and silly over the years.  Ted Dawson(KBCI/CBS) and David Augusto(KTVB/NBC) come to mind.  KTVB cutting a U.S. Men's Olympic basketball game short for coverage of a Kristin Armstrong (Olympic Gold Medalist) celebratory parade composed entirely of kids in August of 2008 also comes to mind.  (Yes, the game was out of reach, but to cut off a game of the Redeem Team for a parade that nobody really cared about really made people disgusted and disappointed.)

Not sure of all of the reasons behind it, but BSU does carry an awful lot lore of trucks, truckers, truckstops, etc.

Perhaps one of the Bronco's could enlighten a little and help the board understand.

What is this all about?  I assumed it is just good-natured ribbing sorta like when Utah State gets called the cow college.

It really seems to get their ire up.  Is there more to the story?
