The LA Colosseum has been updated recently but I haven’t been there in awhile. 

I think The Rose Bowl even had a few things done. Historic for sure like MSG.

But I like modern and fresh digs for games. Just me.

The Networks amd NCAA don't care diddly about the G5.  It's dead to them. It doesn't make enough money to bother. Yes, the G5 will still be seen on the smaller cable networks. ESPN+, Cbssports, etc. But don't hold your breath about being on Big Fox or CBS. The are very few in our most populous tv markets are staying up late to watch UNR and Hawaii. Trust me on this one.

Also, I won't be surprised if the next MW TV Deal is meager on the dollars, high on Schools picking up the production costs. It's the way of late stage Capitalism. It's all about the ROI.

You kind of have an all or nothing attitude of the world.  You're either top dog or don't matter at all.  There will always be someone bigger, faster, stronger, more successful, better looking.  It's okay to be the best regional conference in the west and to be G5.  That is an enormous accomplishment for the MWC.  It's okay to have lower ratings than P4, to make less money and for me to not give a flying monkey turd about watching USC play some school back east in conference play.  We will survive and in all probability be successful.

I think ROI is any stage of capitalism..
