Destiny Dutch Posted May 14 Share Posted May 14 I just wanted to give a plug to the Wilner interview with Gloria Nevarez. Even though I'm a Thompson fan I must say that the transition to Gloria came at the right time. Her experience with the old Pac and WCC gives her great insight into steering the MWC through the current choppy waters. She's an assassin. When she cut SDSU down at the knees when the Pac 12 was still fighting to live, that was a gangsta move. It was also gansta to attach so many monetary penalties for the Pac 2 to get a scheduling agreement - in case they wanted to poach MWC teams later. It is my opinion that the ACC is going to die like the Pac did, and Gloria Nevarez is going to be on the other side of the negotiation table from Stanford/Cal/SMU.
